We don't serve breakfast in house, but there are lots of great places to buy breakfast really close to us, along St James Street (going into the centre of Brighton) and in Kemptown Village on St George’s Road.  Here are the ones we’d particularly recommend, some of which have discount offers especially for RBB guests - numbers 1, 2, 3 and 5 - just tell them you’re staying at Red Brighton Blue (or take a card from our leaflet table by reception for 5):-

2. Kooshk - 30 seconds walk - open 9am every day - new, really friendly cafe serving a mix of British and Persian food, so options for something a little different, but their Full English is fab, plus great vege, vegan & GF options, plus 10% off menu prices for RBB guests.

3. The Avenue - 3-4 mins walk, open 9am every morning - Stylish, modern selection of freshly cooked breakfasts including Field or Farm Full English, Eggs Benedict plus healthier choices like Acai Bowls and Overnight Oats, plus 15% off menu prices for RBB guests.

4. Café Diva - 5 mins walk, open 8.30am every day except Sunday - A really friendly Mediterranean café, for something a little different.  Benjy the lady owner will make you smile!

5. Artisan Café - 3-4 mins walk into Kemptown Village, open 7-8am Mon- Sat, closed Sun - Takeaway café with great coffee, toasted breakfast panini, delicious, sweet treats, plus 20% off for RBB guests using a discount card on our leaflet table by reception

6. Café Rust - 4 mins walk into Kemptown Village, open 9am every day - Lovely café come antique shop, with delicious locally sourced food, Full English, Eggs Benedict / Florentine / Royale & great vege & vegan options.  See Menu >>>

8. Open Bakery - 5 mins walk into Kemptown Village, open 7am every day except Sunday - One of the best French style bakeries / patisseries in town with fresh takeaway croissants, pastries, quiche, coffee, etc
