Check-in / Check-out policy
We take check-ins by appointment between 2pm and 8pm.  As a small, boutique Bed & Breakfast we do not have a permanently staffed reception desk. If you have not already advised us of your estimated time of arrival, please let us know by email or phone by the end of the day before you check in.  If you do not advise us in advance, or do not arrive at approximately the time you advise, unfortunately you may be delayed in checking-in.  Also if on your day of Check-In your estimated time of arrival changes, again please just let us know, so that we can ensure someone is here for you. If you arrive in Brighton earlier than 2pm, please do feel free to come straight to the hotel to leave your bags, and whilst we can't promise, if your room does happen to be ready, you'll be able to check in early.

Pet policy
Pets are unfortunately not allowed.  Sorry.
Group Policy
Group bookings (any reservation of 4 or more rooms) have special payment and cancellation conditions, even if Flexible Prices are booked, and require a 20% deposit at the time the reservation is made, a further payment of 50% of the total balance at least 30 days before check in, and then the final balance of 30% total to be paid at least 7 days before check in. All payments for group bookings are non-refundable and must be made on schedule in order to maintain the booking.  Unfortunately, Stag and Hen parties are not permitted at Red Brighton Blue and groups (5 or more people) of all male or all female bookings are not allowed, unless by prior arrangement with us.
General policy
Minimum stay requirement over weekends (2 nights minimum if your stay includes a Saturday night) and during some other events.  Please note our guest bedrooms are located on the first, second and third floors, and are accessible via stairs only. Therefore we may not be suitable for guests with mobility impairment. There is no lift at the property, but we will gladly assist with luggage should you need it. Please ask at reception.

Red Brighton Blue is a recently refurbished, boutique guest house with 11 deluxe bedrooms, all ensuite, including Kings, Doubles and Singles, some with oblique sea views and some with views of our pretty courtyard garden. Our guest house offers a friendly, personal service that is as professional as any hotel, but with the added benefit of owner managers on site, who will happily do whatever we can to make your stay the very best possible.  Located just off the sea front, 2 minutes walk from bars & restaurants and less than 10 minutes walk to the Pier, Royal Pavilion and city centre.  We can assist with parking, offering vouchers costing £12 for 24 hours enabling parking in the resident bays in the streets around the hotel.

All our guest rooms are deluxe, meaning they offer the latest entertainment technology including smart TVs with catchup, free access to our DVD movie library, access to your Netflix account and free wifi in all rooms. All rooms also have a complimentary hot drinks and snacks tray, with Nespresso coffee machine, complimentary biscuits, chocolate and fridge with complimentary water and soft drinks.  Rooms also features a laptop safe, USB charger, fan, hairdryer and DAB radio alarm.

All rooms have luxury Ensuite shower rooms, including a rainfall shower, mood lighting, illuminated make-up mirror, and complimentary REN toiletries.

Our grade 2 listed historic Georgian townhouse is set over 5 floors (sorry, we do not have a lift), with well proportioned rooms, large windows and many original features. Our light, elegant Dining Room offers breakfast each morning, incuding a continental buffet, plus choice of freshly cooked full English breakfast.  Our pretty courtyard garden gives guests a quiet place to sit out and relax, admist lush green planting and playful water features and it's even gently illuminated each evening.
